Researcher • Photographer • Observer
My name is Olivia. I was born and raised in San Diego, and am lucky to call it home again after spending many years living across the U.S. and abroad.
This website is a personal archive of my meanderings, musings, and observations of the world, and really, a love letter to beauty in its many forms. Photography has always been one of the primary ways I let the world in and listen to what it has to tell me about itself—and I never tire of listening.
Interests
In my free time, I enjoy working with my hands—whether that’s flicking yarn over knitting needles or trimming the jib line on a sailboat, I take great joy in the creative process and understanding how things work.
When I’m not interviewing participants and synthesizing data, I spend my free time cultivating my favorite hobbies:
Digital & Film Photography • Knitting • Sailing • Illustration • Writing Cinema • Wheel Pottery • Beaded embroidery
