UX Researcher • Photographer

My name is Olivia, and I was born and raised in San Diego, CA.

I’ve also lived in San Francisco, Oakland, Chicago, New York City, and Budapest. Each city I’ve lived in has invited a new interpretation on the world, a theme that guides what I photograph and even the way I organize my work.

Additionally, I have multiple forms of synesthesia that have strongly influenced my creative and dilettante interests.

Interests

In my free time, I enjoy working with my hands—whether that’s flicking yarn over knitting needles or pulling the jib line on a sailboat, I take great joy in the creative process and restoring and working things.

When I’m not interviewing participants and synthesizing data, I spend my free time cultivating my favorite hobbies:

Digital & Film Photography • Knitting • Sailing • Illustration • Writing • Cinema • Wheel Pottery • Beaded embroidery
